When I was younger I used to pray,
“Use my life Lord in any way.”
But inside my heart He heard me say,
“Here’s a list God. Pick away.”
Doctor, Lawyer, Athlete, Celebrity, Astronaut, Congressman, Senator, President, Millionaire.
As faint as the wind I heard this line,
“It’s not your plan that matters, but it’s Mine.”

When I got older, I began to pray,
“Use my life Lord in any way.”
But inside my heart He heard me say,
“Here’s a list God. Pick away.”
Salesman, Manager, Counselor, Engineer, Small Business Owner, Architect, Teacher, Rancher, Middle class.
Like the sweet sound of rain, I heard this line,
“It’s not your plan that matters, but it’s Mine.”

Now that I’m weathered, I try to pray,
“Use my life Lord in any way.”
And inside my heart He hears me say,
“Here’s a list God. Pick away.”
Laborer, Minimum wage worker, Janitor, Garbage man, Groundskeeper, Unemployed, Hungry, Homeless, Broke.
Like thunder in a storm I echo His line,
